My new team in FM12

Sorry dear readers little delay, I was in buying a new notebook and here it is, brand new and powerfull to play without lagg FM12 =).

Lets start with team. Like I wrote in last post, I need new challenge for this year’s  manager and I found it. I decided to create new club, named FC Emirates (“in honour of Arsena”l). I’m very happy with Wenger’s “young players” tactics, so I decided to start new Carrer as manager of FC Emirates, the youngest average age players in division club. If you remember last FM was all about Wembley FC, well the challenge is similar. I mustn’t have average age over 23 years old. My transfer budget is 100m for 18 players which I can bought! FC Emirates will not have any players in the beggining, all must  be bought. But here is the catch, I cannot buy players who were in my Wembley FC team! So in this case I will start in Champsionship League (Second English Division). My main sponsor will be Emirates, but Stadium will be named Stadium of Pride, which will have 5000 seats, but expendable to 98 000, if we ever come there. My goal is to be better than 16th at the end of season.

Creating new club means I have to use FM12 editor, but I can asure you, I will not change any players attributes or anything related with players! So I hope you will enjoy in my new FC Emirates story

Starting Football Manager 2012

Hello dear readers!

Gasper, the manager blog is back! I was almost half a year abroad and I finally came home last week. I was thinking what should I do regarding my blog about FM. Firstly I was not interested to start writing, but something changed my mind. My current work does not aquire me to speak/write in English. I’m still quite young, so I will be good for my knowledge to write in English, even it’s only few sentences a weak, better than nothing :) So I dediced to re-open my blog.

In Fm11 I must say I was very successful manager ( =) ), so this year I want to take my manager abilites little further and spice it a little.

I will not (yet) post which team I chose to manage because I have to scout players firstly and then make a plan for signings. But I can tell you it will be custom (edited) team in English (unknown) division.

More details will be posted soon :)

It was quite busy month. First match was in last days of August and in September we played 5 matches. Our hardest was against Schalke.

First match Frankfurt. We lost friendly match against them, but I hoped this time we will win and start with a good result this season:

It was very nerve match. Thanks to Diego’s pass (man of the match) Mario scored only goal in this match! I was happy, because we played at full home stadium and we won!

Second match was against Stuttgart. Very quality team and I expected to have many troubles scoring their goal:

Kadlec and Benaglio were stars of the match! Benaglio deffended penal and Kadlec scored our 3rd goal in this match!! This was the best thrilling match I have played for a quite long time.

I finished match with 9 players! I got 4 injuries. But in 35th minute I subtitute Helmes and 2 injured players, which meant we played with 10 players after injuring Grafite, but in 94th minute Johnson was injured too, it was almost end of the match!!

Third match was against Kaiserlautern. This is not one of the best teams for division title, but still media’s prediction was 11th place, only 2 less then us:

Good performance. Nice goal by our deffender and nice victory. We are currently 1st in division with 3 wins out of 3 matches!

Our forth match was at our stadium against Freiburg. Once again, this team is not one of the bests, but they are very dangerous at counter-attacks:

Our fifth match against Mainz. I wanted good result and solid performance:

Once again it was very tied game, but we managed to win! Our 5 straight win in division!

Our last match in September was against Schalke. They are much better team than us and I predicted losing this match:

Suberb win! We controled whole game and scoring a goal! Too bad Cicero missed penalty, but we got 3 points and 6th straight win!

Current Table:

We are first! Without losing a point! We could concede less goals, but all its important are points.

Welcome to VfL Wolfsburg story

I chose Wolfsburg, because its an average German team and I want to win some cups with it.

Althought we won in 2009  German Division, our odds for winning are very small. Media predicted we will finished 9th, but I will do everything to be in the top5 again.

I was not happy when board presented their minimum expectations and transfer money:

They only gave me 6m for transfers! I wanted to buy very good striker (Edison Cavani), but its impossible for this season! If we had Edin Dzeko it will be allright, but now I need one good (potencial future) striker.

My formation:

This is still my experimental formation. Our strongest player (regarding scouts) is my goalkepper Benaglio. My weakest part of team are middfielders, but for this season it will stay as it is.

I was not very active at transfer market:

I paid little too much for this player, but we don’t have high reputation, so very good players doesn’t want to join us. Still he is hot prospect or the future, he still needs development.

This was all in my pre-season transfer market. I wanted to buy Lucas, but I didn’t had enough money left :(

Frendlies:

Our form in first 4 matches was suberb, but then we tied and lost. Still we played very good against all opponents!

Most interesting was against Arsenal, which we (suprisly) won!

Althought they had more shots and us, they couldn’t score, but we had luck.

Last match, before season starts was German Cup, 1st round:

We were absolute favourites for this match and we played very good match. I like, Kadlec scored in second half as soon he came to the field (he was subtitute for 60min)

I’m back!

After more than 1 month, I dediced I will start once again my blog. When I stopped writing blog, I playing with Wembley CF for 2 seasons more and I won in my second season European Championship Cup, Euro Super  Cup  and English Premier. So I dediced to stop playing as Wembley manager and start from season 2010/2011. I chose Portugal, England, Spain, Greece, Italy, German, Italy and Holand for playable nations.  For my first team, I chose VfL Wolfsburg (Prediction place: 9th place) in First German Division. My goal is to win First Division, German Cup and Qualifying for ECC and win it. What do you think about my new team? Why you suggest me another team?
